With only one of its kind, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is one of the best smartphone Samsung has ever produced. The Samsung galaxy S6 edge is seemingly fast with its own Exynos Octa core processor. Furthermore, S6 bears one of the finest camera present in the smartphone world.
And there’s even more to know about this future inspiring smartphone –
The Highs – Incredible design, Amazing camera performance in low light conditions, fastest ever, excellent display quality.
The Lows – Hardly any purpose of curved screen, Battery does not last long, SD card slot missing.
Final Say – With Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung gives a glimpse of future smartphone technology. S6 edge may not be affordable gadget for everyone, but for those who can, it’s a masterpiece from Samsung. Why you should buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge ASAP –
Incredible Design
- 5.1 inches super AMOLED touchscreen
- 142.1 x 70.1 x 7 mm (5.59 x 2.76 x 0.28 in)
- 132 g (4.66 oz)
- Corning Gorilla Glass 4 back panel
Talking about its Design, Galaxy S6 edge comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the front and so on the back. There are hardly any flaws in the design apart from ‘not so cool’ metal finished plastic ear speaker.
And with two curves on either side, S6 edge feels a kind of narrow and more sharper to hold. However, unlike HTC’s M9, there is no problem whatsoever in reaching the top corner of the screen while using it single handedly.
Amazing Camera
- Primary – 16 MP, 2988 x 5312 pixels, optical image stabilization, autofocus, LED flash.
- Secondary – 5 MP, Dual video call, Auto HDR
Believe me, when I say, S6 edge sports one of the best camera on any smartphones to date. On comparison with its biggest rival iPhone 6 plus, S6 edge tend to deliver better quality pictures even in low light conditions.
Apart from excellent image quality, Samsung has included couple of new features that make S6’s camera even smarter.
Features like, OIS (Optical image stabilization) – reduces blur in image and Virtual Shot – allows you take a 360 degree video of an object, gives S6 edge advantage over its rivals.
Superfast performance
- Exynos 7420, CPU – Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57
Unlike its former, Galaxy S6 edge features an octa core Exynos processor with a 3 GB of RAM which makes it amazingly fast. And the benchmark scores say the same story.
The phone not only remains cool during heavy tasks but also ensures a smooth experience without any lag.
The negatives
Not much tasks for edge screen, shorter battery life, no MicroSD card slot.
The edge screen looks quite a fancy thing but it there’s not much one can do with it, apart from accessing favourite contacts and other random stuff.
The other thing that is quite disappointing about S6 edge is the small 2,600 mAh battery. That’s certainly not a big issue for average usage but for heavy tasks and gaming enthusiast the battery is no good.
I think I’m going to change my Samsung E7 to S6. It has great features. Thanks for sharing it.
